L’homme qui marche, or Not, is a replica of the original, wrapped in crocheted cassette tape.

In the opinion of art historians, L’homme qui marche is one of the most important works by Giacometti. It is one of the most important works of 20th century Swiss art. With this work Giacometti turned to naturalism once more, which in 1935 eventually led to his expulsion from the Parisian Surrealists.
