Darya von Berner understands all her works as Athmospheres, whether it is a painting a light installation, a sculpture or an operatic performance. With each of these different artistic expressions she seeks to create an experience one can immerse in, in order to become aware oft he connectedness of all.
Artworks are part of the world and there is no hierarchical order of meaning and importance but a co-existence of everything, where art work, viewer and the natural condition permeate one another, for they are one living organism.
